Intracranial Pressure
and Temperature Monitor

Smart PIC

3 monitoring parameters: pressure, curve and temperature
Plug and play: immediate monitoring after catheter connection
Storage and graphical representation of past 4 days history

Smart Pic Pressure and Temperature Monitor lets you monitor intracranial pressure and temperature using catheters.

HpPic, no HpMip interface module required. It will report the intracranial temperature value, the intracranial pressure value and curve, generating alarms when the limits
of physiological values are exceeded, and also stores these values for history and trend responses. The Smart Pic Monitor can be used with hpbio intracranial catheters, which are part applied to the patient.

Smart Catheter and Smart Pic Monitor must be interconnected by the PIC Catheter Extension Cable.

    COMPONENTS

    1 – PARENCHYMAL/SUBDURAL CATHETER:
The catheter is internally built with wires for transferring data and bringing flexibility, without any risk of rupture and functioning interruption.
The disconnection and connection is possible without re-zeroing as the calibration parameters are kept stored.
The catheter is available for PARENCHYMAL/SUBDURAL or VENTRICULAR measurement with three configurations of Introduction Kit.

    2 – VENTRICULAR CATHETER:
Manufactured in medical grade silicone with external diameter of 9F and 35 cm of length. Marked every centimeter to guide the introduction depth.
Features specific lumen for liquor drainage allowing attachment to an external ventricular drainage system during the monitoring procedure.
The catheter flexibility allows subcutaneous tunneling with no risks of rupture.

    3 – NEW CONNECTOR
more resistant to torsion and involuntary disconnection.

4 – PIC Catheter extender cable
